World Knowledge Olympiad
Our learners were challenged in this Olympiad which tested their general knowledge on various levels.
Our highest achiever was Azeezah Motala.
Turkish Language International Olympiad – Ankara, Turkey
Dehini Rapeti – Silver Medal +$ 750
Yashna Ravidas – Bronze Medal + $600
Nonkululeko Mtshali – Bronze Medal + $500
National Language Olympiad – SACEE (South African Council for English Education)
Amitha Doodnath achieved the best results
Computer Olympiad
Overall best learner – Azraa Alli.
Our learners were challenged in SAASTE : (Natural Science –Gr8-9); Physical Science and Life Sciences (Grade 10). Our learners benefited academically from this experience.
AMESA Maths
Genevieve Bronwnyn Chetty was a top 20 achiever amongst the grade 10 learners.
SAIPMO (Southern African Inter-Provincial Maths Olympiad)
Ayesha Abdul was one of 10 learners who was chosen to represent South Africa in the Maths Challenge in Lucknow (India).
Eskom Expo
A total of 37 learners participated at provincial level:
14 Gold medals
7 Silver medals
9 Bronze medals.
At National level, Sa’diyah Rasool and Nerisa Reddy represented KZN in Pretoria and they won 2 Silver medals.
